Silanyo Visits Wounded Civilians In Hargeisa Hospital

HARGEISA, Somaliland (Somaliland Globe)- The leader of Somaliland opposition KULMIYE party, Ahmed Mohamoud Silanyo has paid a visit to the civilians who were injured in clashes between police and demonstrators protesting over the closure of parliament by president Rayale on Saturday.

Silanyo and senior party official spent almost an hour on Monday visiting wounded civilians in the General Hospital in Hargeisa. Most of them had been recuperating from gunshot wounds. There were three policemen who suffered shrapnel wounds from a hand grenade that was thrown at them during the clashes.

Silanyo promised to offer financial help to one of the patients who appealed to him for help.

Silanyo prayed for their health and fast recovery.
