President Elect Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo

SOMALILAND

Subject : Somaliland election victory

Your excellency,

The Forum des Intellectuels Canadiens warmly congratulates you on your historic election victory and we wish you the best as you embark on what will prove to be a challenging period.

Your message of hope and justice that was the touchstone of your campaign brings reassurance during this time of deep economic crisis.

Along the way, you’ve committed to being a leader in the fight against criminality and banditry in Somaliland.

Over the last 8 years, so-called Riyaale administration has been destroyed Somaliland economy and refused to restore the law in Hargeisa. So-called Riyaale government organized  kidnapping, home invasion, armed robbery-murder and took the lives of somalilanders with impunity.

Dahir Riyaale Kahin is a war criminal and he would be in hell. We don’t hesitate to approach him with handcuffs to make a citizen’s arrest.

Somaliland needs a leader in the fight to save justice and peace.

With your election, we are looking forward to a new era. You must end the days when ‘’Somaliland Security Committee’’ condemned innocent people without any evidence and so-called Hargeisa police were dressed in uniforms to commit home invasion-robberies.

We hope you take action against corrupt and dishonest so-called police officers (criminals Mohamoud Doualeh Hersi, Mohamed Ismael Hersi, Abdi Ali Haid, etc..),   release innocent people detained in Mandhera Prison and arrest wanted criminals.

You inherit from so-called Riyaale administration a corrupt government with dysfunctional institutions, cities and towns that lack clean water, reliable electricity, paved roads, good education, job opportunities and proper healthcare and hundreds of young college graduates risk their lives on the high seas to escape from a hopeless and bleak future.

We hope that President Elect Silanyo will help the thousands of somalilanders desperate for finding ways out of their miserable lives.

Sincerely,

Spokesman, FIC
